Molecular Materials: Preparation, Characterization, and Applications

CSIC research scientist Jordi Fraxedas, leader of the ICN2 Force Probe Microscopy and Surface Nanoengineering Group, has co-edited a book with the title Molecular Materials: Preparation, Characterization, and Applications.

Conceived for a multidisciplinary audience, the text provides an overview of the field of molecular materials, describing the state-of-the-art techniques being developed, and their many and varied applications. It includes findings from a 2013 American Chemical Society meeting.

While books may no longer count towards formal research impact metrics, they remain an important cornerstone of higher science education. They serve to consolidate the latest advances in scientific understanding, bringing those ideas that have received wide acceptance within the research community out of the laboratory and into the classroom.

The volume will be published on 5 May 2017 by CRC Press (ISBN 9781482245950 – CAT# K23560), edited by Sanjay V. Malhotra, B.L.V. Prasad and Jordi Fraxedas, group leader at ICN2.
